Assignment #9: World's Fair Reflection
After seeing the pictures and going to the virtual presentations, what do you think? If you could have travelled back in time, would you have wanted to go to the World's Fair? Be sure to explain yourself. Why or why not? What is the most amazing thing that you saw in the photos? What surprised you about these pictures? This information?

Honestly I haven't been out of the house much lately so I'd love to go just about anywhere. just kidding,Well I would because I like going to different places and having fun while doing I.The photos were pretty cool, I don't really have a favorite but they were nice to see.Nothing was really surprising since I knew what to expect but this was alright.
ReplyDeleteI think that the virtual presentations was geart because we got to see what our city look back in the days and how the got new thinks like lights and all that other good stuff.

3.that they made look like noting had ever happen like it never got burn down it was amazing how they made everything look so nice and clean.
I think it was cool! If I traveled back in time I think I would have definitely gone to the World Fair. It was a huge thing for Chicago to celebrate. All the photos were amazing to see! The thing that surprised me the most about the photos is how everything has changed.

ReplyDeleteI think it would of been cool to see all of those people in one place and I would of gone to the world's Fair because i would of see all of see how the thing were back then and the things we have now and to see if the Ferris wheel would hold so many people.

ReplyDeleteWhen I was looking at the pictures in my head I was just like wow it looked amazing. I would've loved to go to this World Fair it would be an amazing experience also! when I was looking through the photos and I saw the Farris wheel I was like wow it was really really big. Chicago looked like England after the World Fair.
ReplyDeleteAfter see the pictures I thought that it doesn't impress me.( because of modern technology)Also i would wanted to see at the World's Fair would have been either Hershey chocolate,the gum, and possibly the Farris wheel because it will look cool in the old times. I wasn't surprised by the pictures i have seen them before in a museum.
ReplyDeleteIf I could travel back in time I think I would have wanted to go to the World's Fair. By the virtual presentation I forgot that I was looking at what use to be Chicago. It would have been amazing to see what was built. The most amazing thing that I seen in one of the photos would have to be the court of honor;It looks so beautiful. What surprised me in these pictures was to know that some of these beautiful buildings got destroyed by riots and fires. I wonder what if these buildings were still here? Would things be different?
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed on what was accomplished during this time period. The first time I would be offered to go back to this fair, I would say yes immediately to the offer. The reason why is because some of the worlds greatest inventions were introduced in the World's Fair alone. One thing that really amazed me is how early the moving walk way was introduced.
